Our first holiday season approaches. To celebrate, I think we need to exchange gift cars.

I propose that we each buy a car, tune it and make it pretty. (I would prefer gold rims instead of a bow). Then post a note that you have finished the car and want to take part in the car exchange.

Think of that post as a wrapped package with a nice surprise inside. Put your package under the tree before Friday, December 16.

Before Christmas, I will do a drawing to determine who will get each package. After that, you will post the car, mods and any tuning. The lucky person who gets your car will build it, drive it and then report back on what a wonderful gift they got. (Or, if your name be Scrooge, not).

Since, the "giving" part of this gift is your effort to build and mod the car, don't spend anymore than 60,000 on the car (give or take a few thousand). You can spend the same amount again on modifications. Don't worry about exact amounts; its the gift that matters.
